Sainte-Chapelle is free of construction and scaffolding. The last time we were here some windows were removed and scaffolding obstructed views. But this time Justin was able to get some great pictures. He was also able to access the second floor. Another beautiful day in Paris. This was a demanding excursion with Viking River Cruise - Paris and the Heart of Normandy.

We’ve arrived back in Paris for the start of our Viking River Cruise, Paris & the Heart of Normandy. We had to see how the reconstruction of Notre Dame was coming along, so we took a cab from our hotel and walked around the cathedral. It is still closed and the reconstruction is massive.. Scaffolding everywhere and the mammoth undertaking of this project is really hard to fathom. There were lots of people checking out the site and the murals that surround it tell the story of the reconstruction process.
I’m glad we were able to see it once again. Maybe our next visit it will be completed.
