Smoky Mountains with a Little Bourbon on the Side!

What does the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and the Smoky Mountains have in common? A summer road trip for the Zamirowski's! While we love to explore across the ocean, we also have had some great road trips right here in the United States!

Last September of 2016, we set our sights on the Appalachian Mountain region with the Smoky Mountains as our ultimate destination. Along the way we got side tracked with a little Kentucky Bourbon along the KY Bourbon Trail, the Kentucky Horse Farm, and Mammoth Caves!

Sadly, Eight Gables, our Gatlinburg B&B, was lost in that horrific forest fire that enveloped so much of the area just shortly after our visit. We were so thankful no one was injured and that we'd had an opportunity to enjoy their hospitality.
